The second module included visits to educational and research institutions (laboratories, experimental facilities), as well as conferences, forums, congresses and exhibitions.
This software approach made it possible to introduce new teaching methods, focusing more attention on practical work in specialized institutions.
The 10th session was attended by 19 scholars from Uganda, Fiji, Malawi, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Egypt, Guatemala, Kenya, Madagascar, Mongolia, Republic of the Congo, Laos, Colombia and Tajikistan.
During the educational course, the participants examined the state of modern energy efficient and energy saving technologies, environmental management systems and existing systems of municipal management of energy resources (EMIS), including the introduction stages of such systems in the regions of Russia. In practical sessions, students applied their knowledge in assessing economic efficiency of different energy sources, made their predictions from the perspective of efficient and energy-saving technologies, and assessed environmental and economic risks of municipal buildings.
