|The final stage of works on energy-efficient capital repairs of the Vologda Health Clinic №3|
Work on the modernization of the main building of the City Health Clinic with the use of modern energy saving technologies was started in November 2016 with the support of UNDP-GEF Project "Building energy efficiency in the North-West of Russia".
Today work on energy-efficient capital repairs are in the final stage. It is planned that by August the building will be fully commissioned. With the financial support of the Project old windows of the building were replaced with modern energy-saving, doors were replaced as well, led lighting were installed, facades were insulated with mineral wool of 150 mm thickness.
An effect from energy saving measures was particularly evident during the heating period at low outdoor temperatures. As noted by the staff of the medical institution, compared to previous winters, the premises became much warmer. There is also an effect in monetary terms: as noted by the Chief doctor of the hospital, all the savings will be used to purchase new medical equipment to improve the quality of services provided.
According to preliminary calculations, the implementation of the measures will lead to annual savings of thermal energy in the amount of 582,76 Gcal and electricity in the amount of 16 182 kWh Total savings will be 1 123 806,79 rubles the amount of CO2 reduction will be 140,1 t/year.
